ARIYIKE WEEKLY: LESSONS I LEARNT FROM PROF. JEGA & THE 2015 NIGERIAN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
The first leg of elections kicks off today in Nigeria. It is the Presidential elections!!! Let's all promote peace and shun violence. Watch my peace video and subscribe to my youtube channel.
Today is Banky W's birthday. Nigerian R and B artist/ songwriter, Banky W is a co-owner of music label, EME an acronym for Empire Mates Entertainment record label. Banky turned 34 today.
Even though her birthday was some days ago, it's never too late to say happy birthday to one of my role models - Aunty Betty Irabor, MD, Editor in chief of genevieve magazine/ founder, Pink ball foundation. I admire her for so many reasons, partly because of her passion and drive for humanitarian work and of course, because she is a mother and wife who knows how to balance her work life and family life. Not all women get it right in that department however, this woman scores an A*.
It is almost time!!!!!! We are kicking off the first leg of elections in Nigeria tomorrow, let's all try and be observant of our environment in the next couple of hours and beyond. The mood should determine how you move and where you should go. Don't vote for someone simply because your friends are voting for the person. Let's vote for who we know will do the job.
On this week's episode of Ariyike weekly, Nigerian TV Personality, Ariyike Akinbobola shares a story of a woman who is unhappy because her husband's friend just moved into their estate. Do you have a problem with your husband's friends living close to you? Share your thoughts.

As part of my book journey, my team and i paid a courtesy visit to the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) Lagos. We were given a warm reception and we proceeded to their conference room where we had a meeting. After the meeting, we proceeded to the library where I donated a few copies of my book.. you'd be able to read as i discovered the UN library is free for anyone who wanted to use it. This was indeed a great discovery for my team and I. i'm hoping to work with the UN to help them promote their activities so the public can know what they do. Here some pictures from the visit.
